VIC100

That’s the name of the 100km charity bike ride from Penrith to Mt Victoria later this year. Our speaker at Rotary tonight was the chief organiser Ed, who gave us the latest update on preparations as the Blue Mountains Rotary clubs are providing marshals for the upper part of the ride.
It’s limited to 800 riders and provides them with a rare opportunity to ride the entire length of the Bells Line of Road through the mountains. Road closures alone will cost over $30,000 but it’s still hoped to raise $500,000 for Lifeline.
It’s not a race but has attracted hundreds of serious  cyclists - 300 paid up already and it’s still over 4 months away!
