...of the urban kind, Tammerkoski rapids in the middle of Tampere, the first major industrial centre in Finland. The view up from Satakunnansilta bridge with Finlayson on the left and Tampella on the right, both now filled with other activities. The last working factory, Tako, downstream from here, closed down a few weeks ago.

It was another hot and humid day, with up to +28°C. The long-awaited new tractor tyre finally came in the afternoon and I unloaded the bigger trailer.

In the evening theatre and dinner in Tampere with Triinu and Jussi. We saw Michael Cooney's "Cash on Delivery" in Komediateatteri and had dinner in the Plevna restaurant in the Finlayson area.
