Take Two

Pleased to say all went well and we were both happy with our performance.

Earlier we had watched four performances from Ruby’s fellow students, they were such good dancers. But it didn’t help my confidence as it made me more nervous the more l watched. 
We had a twenty minute break before our turn and l don’t know what we said to each other but we were both in a good place as we took our starting place.

The tech man made an error with the beginning of the piece  and we had to start again. This could have been disastrous for us but l made a joke and the audience laughed with us not at us. So we started again and l couldn’t have wished for it to go better, we hit all the marks and it was all good the second time around.

Ruby now has to complete her dissertation about the whole collaboration: rather her than me.
