GOODBYE GLORIOUS JULY!

A heat wave is coming, so I watered all
my outdoor plants. Afterward, Angus & I
went to this small park near my house.
If you look, in the distance, behind
the sign you will see White Face
Mountain. I can see it whenever I
walk or drive, in my neighborhood.
I am quite fond of it & have posted it
many times.

Our county was once a major producer
of CITRUS, so the park’s name makes sense. However, I only saw 2 citrus trees on the perimeter of the large grassy area. I am guessing there were lots more at one time.

There is a CITRUS GROVE near the library that gets smaller every year.
A disease carried by an insect from Asia, is decimating citrus trees
in the US.

So, it was great to see 2 healthy trees in this
park.
