Hot stuff

An excruciatingly dull day at work. I've run out of billable work, so I did some internal paperwork and then tried to learn about SAP's latest version of it's middleware platform. The training was clearly written by someone in marketing who has never actually used the product as it was full of spin and fluff and devoid of any useful content. and clearly completely detached from reality.

After walking the dog and then dinner it was another batch of mirabelle plum jam. That now makes 5 batches this year so about 11 kg of fruit and a 7.7 kg of sugar... plenty of heat and I've now got a lot of jars of jam.

There is more fruit left that hasn't been frozen or turned into tarts, so I think I'll try a chutney for me and do some more jam to give away to the gardening group my wife works with.

I do like mirabelle jam, but it's rather a lot, and it's hots stuff to make and handle... I like jam but it will take a year or so to eat...
