The hydrangeas are doing really well this year, the heavy storms must be having an effect. Can you spot the one you gave me Stalker? And the Salvias that Jenny donated also doing well. 

I met with James, Liz and Rosemary at the Park Gate Inn for lunch. They had intended to visit the castle and for us to meet there, but the weather was not kind so we gave that a miss. It’s been years since I went to the PGI - Sue and I used to go at least twice a week in the early days of education. The ambience was as peaceful and welcoming as ever, and the food delicious. Way better than we would have got at the castle! Managed to get home and log on just in time for my 4pm Teams meeting, to receive a message cancelling it! At 5 to 4!
