Squashed to Death
The first of five yellow squash of this size harvested today. I like squash, don’t get me wrong, but we can’t keep up. They are so prolific, I have started stir frying them for lunch. One half squash, onion, jalapeño, and grilled chicken breast. Delicious, but at one half squash consumed and five squash harvested? You can do the math. Jody found a good method for freezing them, which we will do to keep for fall and winter stews. Until then, squashed to death.
