Roll up and play..

I was on a very early bike ride... as the temperature at the moment (4.30pm) is 35C..and quite unbearable outside. This young man played a nice variety as I stopped and listened..and I congratulated him..which he appreciated.


We had a forest fire down the valley approximately 40K south of here. It started with a truck catching fire..and spread to the hillside of the community of upper Peachland. The main highways to Vancouver and Penticton were closed for about 10 hours. 400 homes were evacuated last night.
Around noon today, many were allowed back into their homes as the fire is getting under control.
I can't imagine the firefighters trying to work in this heat...UGH.
