The kindness of strangers

I was out in the field interviewing (part of my job). 

I got into a conversation about the atrocities of war! Of course that was so dodgy and unprofessional of me, but it does happen occasionally (thank goodness). 

When we were done, the woman gave me a thank you card for being kind. She carries these cards in her bag - ready for distribution. I do meet some interesting people...
