Last Day

It was the last day of our grandchildren’s stay with us. We made the most of it, spending the afternoon on the beach. The weather stayed dry most of the time but the sky was always threatening and there were showers, but the evening weather was glorious. Swimming in the rain was fun. We had a meal out at the Harbour Light, the children had exciting rides at the fairground (extra) and we were on the spot for the firework display on Paignton Green at 10pm. The display signified the end of carnival week.  Luckily for them it is not the end of their holiday, as they move on to Cornwall tomorrow.
