I went for a run this morning but was thwarted by closed footpaths due to overhead power line repairs and by some rather aggressive-looking cattle.

This afternoon, I headed to bowls for a practice session. On the way, I stopped to assist an elderly lady who had fallen and was injured and bleeding. Fortunately, the ambulance arrived, sirens blaring, within 15 minutes.

Pizza night at the village pub this evening, though the choice was a little uninspiring.
