The Nook, Abernethy

I’m so far behind with my journal. This was last Sunday!

We decided to have a wee run in the car to Abernethy which is about 15 minute journeyin the car. We went for a walk then popped into this lovely relatively new Cafe/shop in the centre of Abernethy.

What a lovely place and good value. The coffee was good too. We just had coffee/tea/scone/cake and the scones were freshly made that morning. What was interesting g too were the books in the bookshelves. We spent most of the time leading through a few and there was an interesting one on the old Perth Academy.

We went another shorter walk and then popped into Jamesfield Nursery for some houseplant feed. I was looking for an iceberg roast but they said no more roses this season and also the iceberg is really popular and sells quick so to put name down for one.

Home for tea and Sunday flew by.
