Monty’s Return

Thursday. Rain—and lots of it. I had a long supervising shift at work, which certainly seemed to drag on. Our peripatetic son, Monty, flew back from Salt Lake City today, after five weeks exploring the US Mountain States with Kenadee. He arrived at Heathrow at 20:30 to meet Milo & Liv, who had kindly agreed to do the airport run today.

Today’s blip is a reconstructed image of Monty’s plane flying over Wales as it began the long descent towards London. This was pulled from the Flightradar 24 app tracking the flight, so the aircraft and its position over the ground are accurate. A little artistic license has been taken with the sky!
