Thomas Brassey

There is a new statue outside Chester Station celebrating Thomas Brassey who was a civil engineer responsible for building many of the world's railways in the 19th century. I don't think his name was known at all 20 years ago and people outside Chester are probably still unaware of the name but the city seems to be actively promoting him now.
