From IJmuiden to Amsterdam is about 30 kilometers of cycling. We had a cosy pancake lunch on a terrace at a pancake restaurant with the Boy and then we continued to the train station. 
You probably won't believe me when I tell that the heavens opened up the minute we entered the train station the closest to our village.
