Tears imagined

Heavy rain showers and blustery wind has dominated the day, so any plans for a walk or gardening had to be abandoned.

I haven’t seen a sparrowhawk since March but JJ saw one on the fence a couple of days ago and I spotted one as it flew across the garden yesterday.  Apparently they only live for about four years, so whether this is my old friend or a new one, only time will tell.

The Japanese Anemone is flowering its socks off and I thought this one looked a bit upset about the weather.
