Birthday bouquet

It's C's Birthday today. We worked together for many years at the coalface (Solicitors' office) from which we're now happily retired, but have remained good friends. I dropped her card and pressie round earlyish and then went to pick up my new glasses. Haven't had a new pair of varificals for a while, so they'll need a bit of running in. A Blip for SillySaturday maybe!

I met up with other coalface workers for lunch at our lovely Festival Centre. I went early to visit our Art Club's current Exhibition. Drat, it finished today and all exhibits had already been taken down. Still lunch, conversation and much laughter was had and the 2, no 3 hours passed very enjoyably. B gave me a card for the Birthday girl which I delivered on my way home. C was back from her Birthday lunch so I went in for a while and had a cuppa with her and husband R, and much catching up. Then her lovely #2 daughter also came to visit with her 3 daughters under 5 ..... After which my visit was changed dramatically!! Meanwhile Millie, the Welsh Terrier took it all in her stride.
