The Ramshorn, Glasgow

“Secrets of the Ramshorn: A Journey Through Time”  was the title of a tour I went on this morning. The former church in the merchant city area of Glasgow city centre, was built in the gothic revival style in 1824. Prominent Glaswegians of the time are buried in the surrounding cemetery.  It became an theatre in the 1990’s but is now part of Strathclyde University and is the National Centre for Languages. The building houses some important examples of stained glass windows and is rarely open to the public so I was glad to have the opportunity to see inside.
