Day10. The Gite we are staying at is excellent. It is a converted farm and outbuildings which have been tastily renovated to retain a rustic style. It is situated about 2 km outside the picturesque village of Limeuil at the confluence of the Vezere and Dordogne rivers. It is very quiet and surrounded by fields where the hay has been recently harvested and rolled into bails. I caught Mrs GM "frollicking" there this afternoon.
The first extra is the half moon taken tonight and the second is another one of the many Hummingbird Hawk moths that frequent the hot lips flowers that line the swimming pool.
