That’s a crowd

It being Friday, I had lunch with Birgit today and we took the opportunity to catch up on things.

Today’s weather has been a bit unsettled as a front is headed our way. We still had a heat index of 108° but also had showers on and off followed by thunderstorms this evening.

Kent and I drove up to Deep Run to have a look at “Integrity” (name of the new house) and it was nice walking through it with so much of it framed in so we could get a real sense of how the house will be when done.

From there we drove on up to Kinston where we were meeting for this month’s sibling dinner. A few nieces & nephews joined us as well.

The fella in the black shirt standing up at the back is our waiter, George. George likes getting us when we eat at The Baron and the Beef and we sure do like getting George.
