Last night a team of volunteers Including our resident entomologist set up a couple of moth traps in Victoria Park after dark to try and catch some moths for our second Twilight opening of the season on Sunday evening. After the success of the last one in June we decided to do another during the school holidays so that hopefully, more children can visit.
We caught lots of moths and over 30 different species which was more than last time. At around 1.30am we decided to call it a day.
One of each species were kept so they can be on display during the opening on Sunday 6-8pm.
