The chandelier

I was in church this morning doing some printing. I looked down the aisle at the candle chandeliers and remembered what a pain is to change the bulbs! Fortunately, it is the job of the commune that owns the building. The lighting must be very environmentally unfriendly, but they are part of the historic building. I spent the rest of the morning resting having had quite a hard training workout last night and I was feeling quite tired. I have brought my tournament match forward to 4 pm so that I can still go to the fête du quartier. It is always the Saturday before the annual Canigou mountain race and I had forgotten about it. It is a good opportunity to meet up with all our neighbours and friends on the street above. It will still be hot at 4 pm but I did not want to miss the occasion.
