Notes: Had some time in the morning to finalize things, peel & cut carrots, pack the rest of the car ... pulled out just before 10a. Was drizzly at first and took awhile before I got to the interstate. I-95S then was a lot of go-slow down-go again and just a few come-to-a-stops – was not loving that but once I got far enough out, it flowed pretty smoothly and traffic wasn't ever too heavy. Rain cleared off but stayed mostly cloudy until I got closer to Durham but still very little sun (thank goodness). Talked to Mom on the phone twice (got Dad's CT scan results for the abdom aneurysm - good news that it's not too close to the kidney and he's scheduled for surgery going thru the groin). Michelle called in between on her lunch hour ... was nice for a few chats but was mostly ok just listening to light jazz and enjoying the gray day. Rolled in to the new house/cat sitting job before 3p and got the tour of the house, cats, e-bike! They left in an Uber around 430p and I got the rest of my stuff in and kitchen, bedroom, etc set up. Had my cheese-less pizza pieces w/ olives and fresh tomato in my beloved toaster oven ... and an NA beer. Got near 90 and very sticky but later big thunderstorms came thru. Shower felt great and I went to bed early.
