The Common; 13.51

I never tire of this view; I hope you don’t either. Even if it always seems to look the same, there are subtle differences each time I come.

Just in front of me, two swallows are skipping over the grass.  (You’ll have to take my word for it).

I found an article in a recent edition of The Luminous Landscape which seems to sum up why I keep coming back to this spot..

…. our purpose isn't just image-making, it's about being present, being in the now, capturing moments, making choices that affirm we're alive and authentic.

Whether we're choosing different lenses to manipulate our view, or even being deliberately anachronistic or formal - it's all authentic because it represents this moment, this choice, this time.
