Ex-Buddleia

I've done a little bit of gardening today, weeding, deadheading and cutting back the buddleia. I got a bit carried away with the latter, but at least I can see the lawn again. I'm not sure I should be allowed out into the garden with secateurs on my own though.

Afterwards I watched Pompey's final pre-season friendly, £5 to stream. After the poor first half I was pessimistic about our chances in the Championship next season, but by full time I was wildly optimistic, after a 1-0 win.

I've also signed up for a trial with Tidal music streaming. I used them back in 2017 but had some technical issues so switched to Amazon Music. After reading a Guardian article about Spotify donating huge amounts of money to an AI-driven autonomous weapons company, and seeing how little they and Amazon pay artists I decided Tidal seem to be the best of the bunch. 

After last month's Premium Bonds 'win' I wasn't expecting anything this month but we had another albeit smaller prize. Not life changing  but enough to pay for half of my new coffee machine.

Vietnamese pork is on the menu this evening. Mrsfb said she couldn't see the ready meals anywhere. What!! It's one of my favourite real recipes!
