Chips
Mrs Smith dropped off the tattie buckets for the big weigh-in when she dropped Osh off at work. While the general view is that we’ve no chance of winning the golden tattie on a plinth when the results are announced, the tatties did make great chips this evening.
While Mrs S was having the tatties weighed (along with most of the village) I was helping Ruby take stuff back into town. Including a back seat full of fallen branches from the woods around the house.
After that I more or less zonked out again.
Meanwhile, Osh helped someone who had collapsed and stopped breathing. Although they are trained in how to use a defibrillator it didn’t come to that. Unfortunately, after 45 minutes, an ambulance hadn’t come either so a relative managed to lift them in the car and drive them off to hospital. Looked like a heart attack given the symptoms. Hopefully they’ll be ok. Osh was a star, staying with them until they were conscious again and then talking with them until the transport was arranged.
