The Village

No signs of storks on the steeple from this distance.
Another short walk, shorter than yesterday,  but without a break. And with new shoes, the old ones were killing me yesterday. I am very careful with new shoes, they have always been causing knee problems until worn in. 
A short visit to see my mother.  She is complaining from minute 1 until I leave. I feel bad saying so. Can only hope me complaining here all the time isn't getting on anybodies nerves.
Tried to pump up the bicycle and failed. I do not understand what I'm doing wrong as always and every single time. Don't like to ask for help. The bicycle shop around the corner is now closed (I think the owner was 80+, so well deserved). There is another one in the village and it looks like I'll need to stop by.
Sorry for whining. TV evening ahead. It has just started to rain (first time today).
