Wall Brown

An unusual butterfly which I had not seen before this week. According to my book, it is a Wall Brown, so called because it likes sitting on walls in the sunshine. I saw two of them. According to butterfly-conservation.org, this is right on the northern limit of its distribution. Climate change?
