Life's Little Moments

Perfect

It is always so nice to see a swallowtail with both "tails" intact.  This morning there were two males fluttering around the garden - this perfect one and a second who had some significant imperfections (See Extra).  Adding to my YardBugs list for the year which seems to be growing by the day.

I was actually hard pressed to decide on a blip today since I also saw two new (for the year) wasps in the mountain mint - a gorgeous Scolid wasp and a big Four-toothed Mason wasp.  I will hopefully see both again soon.  In the meantime, if you want a sneak peak of all three wasps, check out my post on Instagram, HERE.

Jax and I have spent much of the day outside pottering around and catching up with a couple of friends on the phone (me, not him).  It has been another gorgeous day.

Mom and Dad have already had three showings on their condo which I think is a very good sing.  The Open House is tomorrow at noon, so I'll will be eager to hear how that goes.

The State Fair is going on this week and I'm told that at least one of my photo entries has taken a couple of ribbons so Hubs and I will head over tomorrow to check it out.  I'm sure we will enjoy walking around the fair too as there are always lots of things to see.

xoxo
