For those over a certain age, Tretchikoff's Green Lady appeared on the walls of many homes with absolutely no ironic intent. Seen as the height of sophistication then, she's now trendy but in a wholly ironic way :-D

Therefore the walls of my hairdresser nod to the past and I silently sympathise with the way my mother must have felt when she saw art deco becoming ultra fashionable!
