Catching up with an old friend

Back blipping this as was too tired to Blip last night. Had a flying visit to my parents on Friday so that my mum could ‘get a look at me and see how I’m really doing’ I think I reassured her. Then on to a friend in Stroud on the edge of the Cotswolds. We’ve been friends since university but mainly been in touch by phone for the last 10 years or when she has been in Liverpool so it has been lovely to see where she lives now. A very rural cottage with fabulous views. Very different to our student days. We walked and talked and enjoyed the sunshine.
