SMASHED IT !

I was competing for the seniors today , that’s anyone over 17 and up to 99 years of age … I was ‘ c’ string which means I am the least experienced… however being c string is excellent because not many people enter 3 people from a team into field events and for Javelin I was the only one !!! Not only did I get a PB but I also swept up maximum points .
We also have an awful lot of fun and other teams are a good laugh , it’s not intimidating in a shape or form. I’d say it’s actually better than when I compete for the veterans ( over 36 years old to join ) because when you don’t have the kids involved it all seems a bit more serious … not horrible but they are definitely more competitive.
