A fixed point....
The first Saturday of August is always the day of the Colintraive Village Fete - a fixed point in the local summer calendar for residents and visitors alike.
The good weather today must have played a part in securing a large turnout, even though there was an important shinty match being played in Glendaruel, and a "pier day" at Tighnabruaich , where the "Waverley" was visiting.
I have added a couple of extra photos to give a further flavour of the event.
