9 Year Old Puppy

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

It’s Murphy’s birthday! Big bestest 9 year old boy. Murphy was especially delighted because Terry (one of his very favourite people) came over for dinner and joined in singing ‘Happy Birthday’ at cake time. Terry is now so used to us that he completely accepts this as normal!

We had a lovely evening playing cards (accompanied by the squeak of Murphy’s new ball). The Eldest Mini Princess and Terry had planned to go to the pub but they realised that hanging with the cool kids was where it’s at so they stayed in because they knew they’d have a better time.

Or maybe it got a bit late and EMP was a bit tired after a week of placement…but I prefer the first explanation!
