Meal

A lazy day today. Not that yesterday was particularly active. I managed to trip over the SAME TREE ROOT (as two weeks ago ) running this morning so called it time and turned back after 35 mins. It was still a decent run, a bit over six miles in total (probably about 11k for those who are either interested or that way inclined)  but not really what I wanted to do.  I never used to trip over, not that much anyway, so need to work out what's different. I am a bit stiffer than I was, which is the only thing I can think of; maybe I'm just not picking my feet up.

I pottered around the garden, collected all the windfall fruit, picked some tomatoes and a courgette (obviously), cut back some dead stuff that hasn't survived the dry weather and cleared some the weeds in the (very small) pond. 

The kitkats are waiting for their next meal. It's further away than they would like but they'll probably cope. Just.
