End of life

Walking along the farm track I noticed this poor hare had met its end, probably by heart attack or illness fairly recently as nothing had started to attack its body.  No obvious injury anywhere having picked it up.   The hind legs are really powerful looking and the ears large. I have seen many hares this summer on the farm so they have been breeding well.
