Gate

After a day’s work in our bathroom we planned to visit an expo in the KMSKA museum (visible on the left of the gate). But on this Thursday there was no late night acces.

So we comforted ourselves with an ice cream from the Gelato Factory nearby. In fact just behind this monumental gate, the Waterpoort. The monument originally served as a water gate on the Schelde river, as well as an honour gate to King Philip VI of Spain (1624).
