Seen at the Museum

The annual SteamUp at Antique Powerland near Salem is crowded and a good place to get way too much carbon monoxide. It is a place of 14 museums (truck, car, trolley-car, fire engine, to name a few), hence that huge hit of exhaust fumes hanging over the place all day long.
Eric is often a docent at the car museum, but today he also subbed in a swing band that played in the main showroom. Also, in the showroom, is a huge pipe organ that a few of the members totally rewired, digitized, and re-assembled over long winter days. You can arrange to play it, you can give other people lessons on it, you can feature it at a wedding or other event, or simply wander around looking at the cars on display while someone else is playing it.
You can see it behind the band in the Extras. Also in the Extras are two 90-year-olds: a woman who has been an active member for years, and Paul, the band’s drummer. Paul was also with Eric in the band that travelled to Japan and has farmed near Salem all his life. The person I also saw at the Museum, but didn’t get a picture of, was Esmé! She was there with her dad and a couple other guys, all former students of Eric’s.
