Olney market
I have a competition to organise for camera club. It’s called “Points of View” and requires a place, and six photo challenges to be completed over two specific days. I have chosen Olney because it’s a vibrant little market town with plenty of free parking. What I didn’t realise was there is a farmers’ market on the first Sunday of every month, which means the market square isn’t available for parking.
We had a wander and then went to The Cherry Tree for coffee and a bacon bap. We didn’t intend to, but we have skipped lunch. It will be a good place to meet up before we all head off in different directions on competition day.
The entries will be judged later in the year on each of the six topics I choose.
Back via Olney’s little Sainsbury’s to pick up a few items that didn’t come with Friday’s delivery.
I should have flown to Le Touquet for the day yesterday and felt a bit sad about it but the chaps who went had a very good day. I wish my head would let me do things.
This afternoon has been taken up with paperwork for my new car.
