Wild flower strip

This strip is at the end of the Leisure Centre Car Park, and the road. And the image above is the colourful bit. I think this is its first year, so hopefully if everything is allowed to go to seed before they cut the grass, it should look really good for next year. I continued my walk along to the foot/cycle bridge that crosses the river Taw to Rock Park. High tide had been and gone. This is looking up river. The road bridge in the distance is the A39, which is the start of the Atlantic Highway which takes you along to the Atlantic coast and on down into Cornwall and finishes in Falmouth.

A pleasant short walk after this mornings rain, and as I type this, we now have blue sky and the sun has appeared. Hope you have had a peaceful weekend :-)
