We went to Palette & Pasture this afternoon. It's a former dairy farm that sold most of its milking herd, with just 8 at present, and rebranded itself as Somerset Gelato. Their milk is used to make all kinds of flavours in small batches.
They have lots of other attractions on the farm. The cornflower picking field was swamped with weeds this year (they don't use chemicals), some of the maize had escaped from the maze and there were very few sunflowers to be seen, so we consoled ourselves with a sweet treat. It was tough choosing between the 14 flavours on offer today but in the end we went for two scoops of Biscotti for Mr W and one of Mint Stracciatella & one of Malteser for me.
