Larch cottage nurseries

We went to Larch cottage nurseries, near Penrith, today. ( We've been there loads of times )

But what was special today, was that their private garden + lake + chapel was open for charity...Eden Valley Hospice.

The private garden is  open every Wednesday afternoon and Sunday afternoon until the end of September.

We had a light lunch of Pea and lovage soup...delicious! Followed by apricot and almond cake...also delicious!

Larch cottage won The Nation's Favourite Garden Award.

Well worth a visit...see 'extra' too.
