I’ve found another box under the desk!

This box should have stuff related to the Worcester Royal Infirmary Nurses League, mostly old magazines.

But to my surprise there was a picture of the cake that I was presented with at my retirement ‘do’ back in 2012. The decoration on top is very unusual, a Bristol Stool chart,  appropriate for me as a clinical nurse specialist for continence, but not for ‘Jo Public’. I need to put this in the other work box.

I need to sort through the ‘League’ box to see if there are documents that should go back to the league or the museum that is now in the old hospital which is now part of the university. I’ve been a member since the late 1960’s. I paid peanuts for a life membership at the first meeting and have saved a small fortune since by not having to pay annually.

B & I were closely involved with the league from 2003 when B designed a website and database for the membership. He managed the website and I managed the membership for nearly 20 years. Covid messed up our annual reunion and with extreme difficulty we handed over our responsibilities a couple of years ago. They haven’t quite got their act together yet to get a quality service set up !!
