Jaunty, dapper, charming, stylish …

But enough of Fred Astaire. This is me in a silly hat.

Two major cooking successes today. First, an apricot and almond cake which rocked. Secondly, a white bean and lentil soup with Ras-Al-Hanout, which got 10/10 in consumer testing (i .e. TSM loved it).

We started cleaning out the eaves. 

We went through the house room-by-room to decide what stays in Surrey, what comes with us to Wales,  and what enters the mystical domain of the preloved (Facebook marketplace etc).

We went for a walk and stopped for alcohol free refreshment.
