Surprise!

A lot of secret messaging and planning went into Katie’s surprise Baby Shower! I had to get her to the venue and Andrew had to prevent her from arranging to be elsewhere! We went to the Crooklands Hotel, but I had to be careful not to park anywhere near her mother’s car.
It all went according to plan and she was really delighted to find everyone there. The afternoon tea was really good and far too much for us to eat, but we bravely did our best. Rachel had made a silly game of mixed up mugshots to determine the future baby’s face! And we dangled a ring over the bump and decided it was to be a boy, so we will see!
Katie’s previous baby shower was cancelled as she was already in labour on the chosen date, so this one is good and early, seven weeks to go!
Imogen and Andrew arrived to see everyone at the end, and finished the cakes!
