Catching some air.

Today two rounds of the tournament, so quite a long day. At least…that’s what we thought when the day started. After the round both E and S had won. With yesterdays round they both have 2 points. A big rating difference between them, but in this tournament there was a theoretical chance for them to become opponents next round… Guess what… the possibility became reality… S is definitely the strongest player, and had the most to lose. But he did offer a draw very early in the game. E accepted without hesitation. Both boys know exactly what the other one would play because they train so many times together, studying games together. They just can’t surprise each other in a game. So a draw it was, and an early drive home. Saving lots of energy for games to come. It was a good day.
