Emergency Gin Blip

Had another day at home.  I got on with a few chores including the ironing... whilst watching TV.  Watched two episodes of Shetland and the first episode of the new series of Annika.( another police series set in Scotland ) 

The weather was dry and warm but its started to get windy as the day went on.  Storm Floris is due to bring a spell of strong and potentially disruptive winds to northern UK on Monday.  Better batten down the hatches.

Only thing I could think of to blip today was this bottle of gin which was delivered a few days ago.  I bought it to give as a gift.  Its from Jack and Victors online shop.  They sell whisky, gin, beanie hats, T shirts, a book and some Art Prints.  Some of you may know Jack and Victor as characters from the Scottish sitcom " Still Game".  A favourite comedy show of mine when it was shown on the BBC. 

Still Game is a Scottish sitcom created by Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill, who played the lead characters, Jack Jarvis, Esq and Victor McDade, two Glaswegian pensioners. Following its debut in 2002 sixty two episodes of Still Game were aired, including Christmas and Hogmanay specials.  

Newcastle United played another pre- season friendly today in South Korea against Spurs.  The score was Newcastle 1 Spurs 1.  At least Newcastle didn't lose this time and they actually scored a goal.
