Kirkcudbright Art & Crafts Trail

Mr P and I were supposed to be going to the Pittenweem Arts Festival today but we thought it might be too busy as it’s the first weekend, so after Mass we opted for the Kirkcudbright event instead. It was a bit of a traipse but worth it. Lots of arts and crafts, tasty home baking, beautiful gardens, a brass band and even a team of roving Morris dancers! We had lunch in the Solway Tide Tearoom (I can definitely recommend it). I even bumped into Nadine Pierce (I swear she thinks I’m stalking her!) The poor thing was stuck in an out of the way church hall with very little footfall. By the end of the day I suspect that she needed once of the free hugs on offer.
