Lamb's ears

These are my new favorite flower. My friend has a bunch of these in her yard and will give me some next spring. I can't wait. The leaves are so soft and fuzzy and the pollinators love the blooms. There are two out of focus bumblebees in the photo. These plants are outside of the Feeding Laramie Valley building. They have great gardens all around the building. I was over there dumping my compost bucket and decided to wander around.
Mostly a day of errands but it's been relaxed. I went over to Mom's new place and spent about an hour watering the lawn. None of us, including Catherine like lawns. I'm going to work with Mom to come up with a plan to dig up some of the front lawn and convert to low water natives. It will be a fun project. We will keep the small side yard in the back for the dog.
