Diamond Wedding

Back-Blip for yesterday 
We had a wonderful party and dance with our camping friends yesterday and by the time we got back we were so exhausted we just wanted bed 
In the morning we went to the co op to get strawberries. Cream. Cheese and french bread for the party 
We took over the hall at 4 pm and set about setting it up and decorating it, out friends came at 5 and we had a lovely bring and share tea we us at the head table. This all lasted until around 6.30 
We then cleared the hall and started dancing with our live band. We are so lucky to have so many talented musicians and friends. Many of the dances had wedding / togetherness themes and best  of all one of our friends wrote a new dance especially for us which we all danced 
At around 8.30 we stopped the dance and cut our cakes had some bubbley and our friends did a little speech and raised a glass to us.
We then continued dancing to just after 10 and by the time we had cleared the hall and got home it was nearing 11
